HP PHOTOSMART 7510 EPRINT SETUP PLUSI then spent the next few hours troubleshooting and hunting the internet for answers and got almost nowhere, I also used up all the free sample photo paper, plus a few sheets of my own, (though even after a dozen photos, the ink levels still look fine. The photo came out very dark, and even tinted a bit, so that the white walls and grey carpet in the picture appeared more tan. In setup the printer offered to print a test photo, so I selected one from my computer and used the included free sample of HP photo paper. I am apprehensive about print settings management not being up to task- on my old MP610 I could save print profiles which would automatically assign paper source, media type, and various print quality settings, however I have not yet found such a solution on this HP.īut the real deal breaker has been the photo printing. Text quality is quite good, and though I've not yet utilized the various types of duplexing available, based on other reviews I anticipate it being fine. The machine makes horrible noises and jerkings around while aligning, though this seems to be normal and not a problem for print quality. The 7510 arrived today and setup took an inordinately long time. I spent an entire day reading reviews and really could find no concensus for good printers. If you have this problem, I can be contacted at don't think there's such a thing as a good printer any more. Now I have two working printers and am much more knowledgeable than before. I cut a hole in the bottom, repaired the broken gear, and now my original printer works just fine. I then attacked my original printer, which was why I needed a replacement, in the first place. With the recently purchase printer that didn't work, and with nothing to lose, I cut a hole in the bottom to inspects what the paper feed rollers look like. I watched a great u-tube video that describes the problem. Just Google the problem to see how many people are pissed off with HP. It breaks the little gear that drives the paper feed rollers. In the case of a paper jam, never pull the paper out against the natural direction of paper flow. HP PHOTOSMART 7510 EPRINT SETUP SERIESI have also learned a lot about the 7510 Series models, and why the paper feed stops working. I like the HP 7510 model and that the 564 ink cartridges are available from the UPS store, at great prices. Why didn't I just go out and buy a new printer? Most recently, I purchase another one on e-bay, for much less money. It didn't work, making lots of nasty noises when it was opened up, to insert ink cartridges. The packaging was intact, but to be fair, the printer may have had a few shocks in transit. The price was quite high, for what it was. I bought a used HP printer, that was advertised as being very little used.
